Young Wordsmiths Competition (YWC) is an essay-writing contest aimed to improve the English literacy and writing skills among upper primary students from rural schools in Sabah.

YWC 2024

Includes two additional schools: SK Masalog, and SK Tagaroh. There will be three rounds of YWC in 2024. The theme chosen for the first contest which ended in May 2024 was My Favourite Festival/Celebration.

There were two quarters for the inaugeral edition, themes were: An Unforgettable Memory. and Your Favorite Person or A Person that That Inspires You.
